ALLFLAWS have emerged to bring the UK club and gig circuit a new fresh concoction of electronic break beats with rap, utilising traditional live instrumentalism. Gabriel Curran formed ALLFLAWS in the early days of 2004. Looking to bridge the void between the hip hop, dance and guitar scene, The ALLFLAWS entity lurks in the shadows of the underground. Taking influences from Pink floyd, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Public Enemy, Rage Agaist The Machine, Cypress Hill, The The, Dance music, and of coarse the so called Bristol sound.
Gabriels deep poetic lyrics are moving away from the typical and conventional Hip Hop themes that have saturated our music culture. His words try to connect to a vast array of listeners whether they be Hip Hop lovers or from a different musical background.
Gabriel has completed two albums to date .... TALKING IN THE DARK... and the new ...THESE WALLS ARE LIES.... Gabriel is currently writing the lyrics and producing/engineering the music himself. He feels by doing both the production and the lyrics himself allows for a stronger bond between the music and the words.
Along side this is a new partnersip with Guitarist Elliot Guise. Elliots influence has been very strong and he has really added a freshness to the proceedings. Elliot has taken over from old guitarist Dave Garnam and his contributions have been incredible. He has really adapted his unique Guitar style and brought a freshness to the sound. Gabriel will be working with Elliot for the live circuit and for future recordings. Watch this space...
Bringing in influences from a diversity of retro and contemporary electronic genres the ALLFLAWS hybrid is a deep, layered and intense sound that ooze's energy, emotion and feeling. VJ SWANKOID has also teamed up with the unit to bring an added visual experience. The visual aspect of the performance is very important to ALLFLAWS. They believe by merging image with sound adds to the layers and enhances the total musical experience. LOOK OUT...
