2005 was a great year for music… Audioslave become the first US Rock band to play , Madonna launched yet another successful comeback, Kate Bush returned to the charts, Busted split up and Angelsoul was unleashed on an unsuspecting public.

Described as “Blondie after 10 pints of Stella” and with influences including Faith No More, Raging Speedhorn, PJ Harvey and The Wildhearts, Angelsoul’s blend of sweet vocals, hard guitars and thumping beats has created a unique sound, unlike any other on the rock circuit today.  We write about life – the good and the bad, losing it and taking it back, giving up and having fun – and we have a great time doing it.

Angelsoul are regulars on the Cambridge band circuit and we’ve built up a steady fan base as well as a great reputation for delivering quality live performances, with gigs at the Loft, the Portland Arms, the Man on the Moon and the Rock (to name a few), supporting fantastic bands like The Hedrons, Fastlane and Birds of Wales.  We do it because we love it and it shows.  Having successfully played London in 2006, we plan to gig further afield in 2007 and introduce Angelsoul to the rest of the UK.
