ARAHAT is a solo project that started off in the fall of 2007 - it has at this time only one member, but plans exist about expanding the band. The music that came out can be described as a fusion of ambient progressive metal with a twist of Trip-hop and acoustic elements, the lyrics are sometimes dark but there is also a promise of change and self-conquest in the end.
Influences have been bands like Neurosis, Tool, Soilwork and Portishead to name a few...
At this time a lot of the energy is put into making new songs, a new song which goes under the working-name INFLATION will come out later this spring. A website is also under construction and will be up soon - ARAHAT.ORG.
