About Artist
I am 54 years old and I live in Arlington Washington. I was born in Kansas city Missouri, and lived in Houston Texas for over 40 years. I started playing guitar when I was 14 years old, and started like most aspiring musicians playing in garage bands thoughout the neighborhood. I have been playing music for over 30 years professionally. I enjoy all styles of music. I play acoustic and electric guitar. I enjoy everything from the soft sounds of finger picking to the hard distorted sounds of rock and roll. I have played in a few circuits and have entertained throughout the south, and also played in New York and Florida. I did a duo that was quite popular for its time with a great friend of mine Bob Bodenstadt. We had a great harmony, which is something I really enjoy singing. I have some knowlege of the keyboard, so that I could write the midi back ground sounds I use in my single act. I have always been the lead singer in every band I have ever played in. I have also written many songs and enjoy writing and composing.
My Influences are : America, CSN&Y, Bread, Bad Co,Cream, Eric Clapton,The Beatles,CCR, Jim Croce, all Southern rock, Journey,Moody blues, Jethro Tull, Garth Brooks, Steve Wariner, Lonestar, Eagles, Dan Fogelberg, Restless Heart ect.........on and on I love music of all types....But the late great Dan Fogelberg was my favorite all around musician
