Big Phoney has absorbed the rich history of blues rock and mixed it with the psychedelic 90's to regurgitate a surprisingly fresh rock sound . With 30% less FAT than most blues/punk outfits. Living in the shadow of New York and Philly out in the hills of Pennsyltucky Big Phoney enjoys both high society and hillbillies.
HISTORY :
Cheif lyricist Eric Feigley toiled for years in obscurity crafting his original songs and working odd jobs, but he never got off his ass and found the right folks to jam with.
Then one day, bassist-rockclimber Jarred Cleerdin discovered Eric living in his 'unabomber-style' shack in west Bethlehem and liked what he heard. Jarred would not leave until they formed "BIG PHONEY", a name Eric had used in other unsuccesful attempts to start a rock band. If you're gonna be phoney, you might as well be big, right?
