About Artist
If you listen to my music you will find my songs quite simple. That's because I try to make them pure and bare.
Today, art is often an isolated matter disconnected from life. We go to the concert to listen to music, to the gallery to view paintings. The more difficult an artwork presents itself, the higher the value and interest it seems to generate.
It thus remains hardly accessible not only in its message but also materially. Such art is not related to our natural needs.
Since I got my first guitar in the ripe age of eight and my mother was giving me some lessions to play I always found it helpful just to grab the instrument and start singing whilst my ups and downs to achieve a re-balance of my feelings. It's like sitting in front of a mirror to get a reflection and an idea about what's going on with you.
I find it's important not to be imitators and not to make imitations of ourselves. Let us be originals. Originals are an expression of creativity and creativity is the origin of the whole creation, of life and nature, who in her exuberance still has energy for play, richness, beauty, and perfection: art.
Let us live in our own rhythm and not in the rigid beat of collective time, and depict our inner being in the image of life.
