About Band
Influenced by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Motorhead and Guns n' Roses, Silent Obsession has a classic, bluesy take on hard rock.
Formed in Birmingham in 2005, the band made its gigging debut in June of that year, playing in front of over 250 people in an open air gig in its hometown. Since then, the band has played various clubs and pubs around Birmingham and its suburbs, including gigs at Edwards No.8, Actress and Bishop and Market Tavern, and in 2007, the band was selected to take part in Surface Unsigned Festival 2007, held in Birmingham.
Having released an EP in the summer of 2006, the band is rehearsing new material for their debut album, planned for release in 2008.
