About Artist
Born March 4, 1982 to parents Troy and Margaret, Adam Fountain grew up in the small north Georgia town of East Ellijay. Adam was exposed to music from the day he was born, as his parents were singers in a gospel quartet. However, Adam's true passion for music didn't come until 1990 when his aunt Jeannette introduced him to a new country singer from Oklahoma named Garth Brooks. From that point on, Adam referred to Garth Brooks as his musical hero, still Adam didn't begin seriously writing, playing, and singing until the age of 20. Since then, Adam has tried to incorporate different influences in his music while continuing to draw from the style of Mr. Brooks and at same time creating one all his own. Adam primarily writes, plays, and sings country music, although his music does vary stylistically from song to song, delving into Americana, Rock, R&B;, and Folk as he is a fan of and was influenced by all types of music.
