About Band
A Day Overdue is a 5-piece pop punk band based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Formed in early 2009, the band have developed at lightning pace, having already written an EP's worth of songs and played their first shows. The rest of the year looks to be very promising, with shows already booked in a number of cities across Scotland and the release of their first EP, entitled "Something For The Weekend".
Formed completely through online advertising, the band members hail from four different cities yet they all share the same ambition and drive to succeed. Each member brings different skills and musical tastes to the table, giving the band's music a recogniseable yet diverse sound. Drawing influence from a range of bands including Blink 182, Guns N' Roses, Joy Division, Funeral For A Friend and Arcade Fire, the songs appeal to fans of many different genres, allowing vocalist Rob Walker's unique style to captivate the listener instantly.
In the current world climate, A Day Overdue aim to put a little bit of fun back into a stagnant and uninventive music scene. See you on the road.
