ALAN A' DALE , formerly known as second string rivals, was formed in 2005 by former members of frunt row....dano and cody. Brian,cody's cousin, joined the band on bass and then later nico joined on guitar.....many shows and months later...brian moved to san morcos for college. soon after this morgan joined on bass....new music wa swritten again. After many shows playing this new music a change of stage presence and appearence was called for quick. This led into Dano quiting guitar and only singing and a good friend(spanky) joining the band. New songs were then written, style had changed, and shows became more exciting. This called for a name change. Alan a' dale comes from "Robin Hood". Alan a' dale is the minsterel that sings along the taled of robin hood in every version....
