About Artist
I'm a singer-songwriter from Droitwich, in England. Since 2003 I have been writing and performing music, and in that time written upwards of one hundred songs. Most of them have long since been cast off and forgotten, but my repertoire still consists of quite a significant number of original songs. I refer to my style mostly as "folk," but I draw influences from many varieties of country, blues and folk music.
My main influences include Woody Guthrie, Billy Bragg, Bob Dylan, Neil Hannon and more. Most of the songs I write are at least partly autobiographical; I tend to draw upon my own experiences, emotions and opinions when I am writing.
In the past I have collaborated with a number of other musicians but at present I am working mostly as a solo artist. I am hoping to release a solo album over the Internet at some point in 2008.
I hope you enjoy the music and return often to hear more of my work.
