About Artist
Angel Azmeer, a solo vocalist/lyricist/guitarist new to the alternative rock scene was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was kidnapped by his mom at the age of 5 when his dad threatened to kill her in the jungles of Malaysia. They moved to Canada to escape any further torment by his father. Leaving home was very hard, especially when your mom kidnaps you against your own will, even for a 5 year old. Life didn’t get easier from then on. Often neglected by his mom and having to fend for himself while growing up in Canada, he bottled up those feelings and only recently started to let them emerge in the form of music.
Having only played the guitar for under 2 years, his reflection of his tough childhood served as inspiration to write songs that could relate to people who would listen. Angel recently recorded 3 live acoustic songs, Crash, Fool, and Just Friends. His latest radio friendly efforts should allow listeners a taste of his potential and talent. Everyone needs to start somewhere… Always looking at the bright side of things in life, his darkside emerges in his lyrics at the harsh reality of life and the pain that can come with it.
There are no plans for shows yet as Angel is continuously writing to increase his repertoire as any newcomer to the industry would have to do. But rest assured, he has plans to storm onto the industry with force!
