ASBOy came about from Phill Gregg being commissioned to write the soundtrack to Sarah Miller’s 2005 play ASBOy. after the show John Hall approached Phill to play the soundtrack live for a gig, Phill half liked this idea but preferred the idea of having a band. he asked Damian Rose (who was also in the play) and Callum Gallagher if they wanted to be ASBOy with him. thankfully they agreed and as Phill was busy they played the first gig (of four brand new songs). ASBOy is now creating a shed load of new work on Three Apple laptops and chucking Alesis Micron and Microkorg sounds all over them. Callum went to uni so Phill and Damo got on with it for a bit, then he came back and chucked some midi sounds into the mix. they played their first proper gig as a three hander with lovely visuals at the cinema room on feb 15th 2008. They are very excited at the moment and will have a load of new material on iTunes by the summer.
