Back To Normal is a rockin' alternative pop-punk quartet from Chesapeake, Virginia that just cannot be tied down to one genre or other band they sound like. "We often tell people that we sound like if Paramore and Blink-182 had a baby," said the group's lead singer/ bassist Sarah Camden, but even that doesn't begin to describe the band's genuinely unique sound. They are currently playing tracks from their debut demo titled "Kickin' It With Adrienne" (in reference to a girl who got kicked in the face by a stage diver during one of their first shows) and are working on writing and recording more songs. "I want to just go ahead and record a full length album! But you have to take things one step at a time and we are no where near that point yet," says Camden.  While the four will be taking a small break from the band to focus on their studies and get used to balancing college with the band, they plan on playing shows again around December this year. "we just need some time to test the waters," said drummer Orion Burke when asked about the time off. "We are definitely not breaking up, though. We've got a connection between the four of us that's too good to waste." Even though they'll be M.I.A. for about 3-4 months, be sure to look out for BTN on tour this summer with fellow Virginia local band, Averman.
