We started like any other starving band in Richmond, Indiana, advancing every time we practiced. Pushing threw the years to grow into our style today. Musical we were solid, but finding a reliable vocalist to fight and mold into our style was becoming a problem. In 2006 Abyss solidly formed bringing a new style into Richmond. Pushing and supporting one another, our writing produced rapidly, and through each song provided a story or experience in which we've been through. With each instrument that was introduced  into our song gave an emotional power for the crowd to feel. Our style is not bound by the rules of a standard verse,chorus,versus, but by a noticeably different taste that all came together. We have gained the respect of bands all over Indiana by throwing huge shows and bringing the communites together. Were currently in the studio finishing up our first album "Dim The Lights." We play as many shows as possible, forming, following, and perfecting our  performances.
