BlackDiamond is a lover of Music and has been since conception. Starting Fall of '05, she's been seriously playing music. The decision to participate in the High School Bands was a decision she says she'll never regret. As a percussionist whose specialty was xylophone , vibraphone and piano, BlackDiamond was able to learn the basics of reading, playing and writing Music. BlackDiamond's experience in Wind Ensemble, Symphonic and Marching Bands, Drumline, Percussion Ensemble and a short time in Full Orchestra has greatly enhanced the making of Music. Starting in Spring of 2008, BlackDiamond dived into the producing aspect of Music. Learning how to engineer Music electronically in addition to her composing pieces on the keyboard put BlackDiamond in a great position.

With her newfound skills, BlackDIamond has set out to bring back The definition of real music. With a love for Jazz, she endeavors to incorporate the sounds of different indtruments in her instrumentals. BlackDiamond is reputed for awesome instrumentals that speak for themselves and can only be enhanced by words, but she also writes Poetry/Spoken Word and occassionally she raps. Although BlackDiamond has a lot under her belt, she is still real and down to earth. "Honestly, I'm only the best at being me...unfortunately for some, that includes creating the product from my love for Visual Art, Literature and most of all, Music." Look for her album bumpin' in a car near you, Duo: Paradigm Shift, which includes some poetry, some instrumental, some rap and maybe a little Jazz. "I named it Duo: Paradigm Shift because for me, it's my reflection in the form of Music and words. There's always two sides to a story. It's also something different for us, so in the industry, this album is a catalyst for change, making a huge, new paradigm shift."
