Black Elysium are an 80's style 'kick you in the teeth' thrash metal / heavy metal band located in Toronto, ON; originally formed in Nova Scotia by rythym guitarist / lead vocalist Allen Byng and lead / rythym guitarist Justin Conway.  After their 2001 demo release of "Drinking Adrenaline" the music scene in Nova Scotia started to turn for the worst.  Local clubs were closing their doors to either metal bands or eviction notices.  Rather than let the band die with the music scene, Allen and Justin decided they had to do something and they had to do it quick.  They packed their bags and headed for a bigger city...Toronto, Ontario; where they were cursed by line up changes after line up changes due to a lack of commitment.  After endless musician classified ads, Allen and Justin's prayers were answered by Newfoundlander Monty Parsons to fill the position as full time drummer.  With more than talent and commitment to offer to the band, Black Elysium's lungs were starting to once again fill with Metal and re-birth.  Black Elysium have since also recruited full time bassist Mike Way and have never been stronger.  Black Elysium are ready to being their masquerade to rule the world with an iron fist and clog the ever so needing arteries of the metal society.
