Blemish has made guest appearances on Tim Westwood's Radio 1 Rap show, Choice FM and 1xtra as well as other stations such as Lightning FM, Smoke FM, Conspiracy Radio FM, Hip Hop Basement, Itch FM, Genesis FM, Pyrotech, Invincible Radio and stations across The Northern Network Radio. Most recently however Blemish has featured in a range of press editorials such as Blues & Soul, Rwd Magazine, Hip Hop Connection, Invincible Magazine and Touch Magazine to name a few.
Blemish has now dropped his fifth and by far, most impressive mixtape to date entitled IT IZ WHAT IT IZ. Featuring production from Postman, responsible for the sounds of Shystie and Skillz, who has produced such talent as Lemar, Jamelia and Big Brovaz, IT IZ WHAT IT IZ showcases the outstanding and versatile talent of Blemish as the lyricist, the entertainer, and the artist.
The CD includes a range of collaborations from some of the hottest acts within the black music scene right now. End of Dayz features an original amalgamation of artists such as Ghetto, Storming, Mike GLC, Rodney P, Taz, Asher D, and Bruza all on one track! 360 Degrees sees Blemish collaborate with the talented singer/songwriter Danielle Senior. Finally, U Got Me is blessed by the up and coming ragga artist Mr. Midas. And these are just the ones were telling you about!!
2006 saw many accomplishments from Blemish’s work efforts, such as scoring his musical dedication into the last three finalists at the MTV Hugo Boss auditions which lead onto a brief interview to profile his talent which was broadcasted on MTV Base. Preceding his claim to success Blemish Blackstorm supported the legendary De La Soul on stage which has ended the year with just the end of the beginning of a phenomenal venture ahead of him.
Now Blemish has entered into the next stage of his musical career by creating BreakProof Ltd, a music consultancy service that he has recently set up along with Danielle Senior. Designed to give opportunities to up and coming acts (www.breakproof.co.uk). This has already attracted some interest in the and remains only a matter of time before the concept of Breakproof is realised internationally.
